Man! I just finished a J.D. Robb book, Born in Death. I've gotta say, I'm not a person who likes violent books or much racy material, but that woman knows how to create characters and weave a plot. Golly! What book have you read recently that you couldn't put down?

I'm enjoying the dog-themed murder mysteries of Lorien Berensen. Her heroine is a dog breeder/shower and you actually learn quite a bit about the dog show world by reading her books.

When I think of "can't put it down books," The DaVinci Code comes to mind. More recently, however, I read the most current Dr. Kay Scarpetta book by Patricia Cornwell. Much more gore than I am accustomed to but a good read with a great ending.

I love the In Death books, too! Right now I'm enjoying Old School Bones by Randall Peffer.

Boy one day I started a book by Lee Child and could not put it down. My recommendation is not to start one on his unless you have alot of time to spare. Also, the wonderfully hilarious books of Toni McGee Causey
